In the open dance class we indulge in movement by focusing on the joy of dance individually, in dialogue and collectively. With physical exercises we tune ourselves into a common state of curiosity.
We admire each other and our own dances as we go. We improvise and play with rhythm, form, traveling through space, attention, time, speed, energy, and desire. We practice temporarily submission to the state of dance. Simply, we invite all of ourselves to dance.
The course is open to everyone, and all exercises can be adapted according to the needs of the participants. Together we strive to create a space free from discrimination, where everyone can learn from each other.
Dance is a great place to practice optimism.
